IL LAVORO DELL’EROE

Le Autrici individuano e mettono in discussione i possibili legami tra il lavoro dell’adolescenza e il lavoro dell’eroe. Se il primo ha a che fare con il confronto vittorioso contro i fantasmi parricidi e incestuosi, allora, l’eroe adolescente è colui che riesce senza paura a confrontarsi con i propri «mostri» interni ed esterni. Eroico è quindi il lavoro che il pubere deve compiere per superare le prove che gli permettono di adolescens, per riconoscere la differenza dei sessi e delle generazioni, per procedere nella propria «avventura della soggettivazione». Le Autrici ripercorrono associativamente le vicissitudini del protagonista del romanzo L’adolescente di Dostoevskij per evidenziare due aporie che considerano consustanziali al lavoro psichico imposto all’adolescente e fondatrici dell’eroe: infanticidio/parricidio e mortalità/immortalità.

SUMMARY

The work of the hero. The Authors identify and discuss possible links between the work of adolescence and the work of the hero. If the first one is concerned with winning the battle against parricidal and incestuous ghosts, then, the adolescent hero is who manages to face both his own internal and external «monsters» with no fear. Therefore, heroic is the work that the youth has to undertake in order to overcome the challenges that will allow him to adolescens, so to recognise differences between genders and generations during his «adventure towards subjectivation». The Authors will follow the vicissitudes of the main character of Dostojevskji’s The adolescent in order to highlight two unsolvable problems that are intrinsic part of both the psychic work that the adolescent has to face, and the characteristics that constitute the basic qualities of an hero: infanticide/parricide and mortality/immortality.
