RIASSUNTO
Nel continuare le sue considerazioni sul quasi pubertario l’Autrice passa in rassegna le modalità specifiche di funzionamento mentale e di comportamento congeniali a questa fase di passaggio, rilevabili anche nelle psicoterapie. Ritiene importante familiarizzare con questi aspetti per coglierne le ricadute sulla clinica e sulla relazione di transfert-controtransfert e per modificare la nostra modalità di essere e intervenire in seduta, consapevole dell’efficacia preventiva di un trattamento in questa età. Riporta una seduta integrale di passaggio tra consultazione diagnostica ed ingaggio terapeutico con un preadolescente, indicativa dei suddetti movimenti.

SUMMARY
No longer a child, not yet an adolescent: reflections about a metamorphosis. Carrying on her reflections about the nearly pubertaire, the Author examines the peculiar ways of mental functioning and the behaviours characterizing this moment of transition, which psychotherapic treatments also show. She emphasizes the importance of proper acquaintance with such aspects and with their influence on the clinical matter as well as on the transference/ countertransference relationship, the analyst’s handling of a therapeutic session and his/her awareness of the importance of prevention at this age. She reports a full session with a pre-adolescent patient showing the above mentioned features when the diagnostic consultation gives way to the therapeutic commitment.
