L’OMOFOBIA: SPINA PROFONDA NELLA FORMAZIONE DELL’IDENTITÀ OMOSESSUALE

In questo lavoro abbiamo fatto oggetto di riflessione l’omofobia interiorizzata, quale derivato di una serie di fattori che si intrecciano (personale, familiare, micro e macrosociale, transgenerazionale) e i problemi d’identità in giovani pazienti gay. Abbiamo riservato particolare attenzione al nodo dell’omofobia tra paziente e psicoterapeuta e ai problemi di trattamento che ne possono derivare all’interno della relazione terapeutica.

SUMMARY

Homophobia: The thorn in the formation of homosexual identiy. This study is focused on interiorized homophobia seen as a consequence of a number of intertwining personal, background, micro/ macro social, transgenerational features and the related identity problems in young gay patients. A special attention is paid to how homophobia influences the relationship between a psychotherapist and his/her patient and the treatment itself.
