RIASSUNTO
L’autrice illustra, attraverso la presentazione di un caso clinico, la complessa e delicata articolazione tra l’analisi transferale-controtransferale e le modificazioni del setting in un arco temporale che copre la media adolescenza (15 anni) fino alla giovane età adulta della paziente. Viene, inoltre, segnalato un parallelismo tra il paziente in analisi e il terapeuta in supervisione per la possibilità di comprendere la ricaduta di certe ipotesi solo in un secondo momento, proprio come l’adolescente può solo in après-coup ridare un senso a quanto già precedentemente vissuto.

Therapyst’s mental status and ridefinition of the setting. Reporting clinical evidence from a patient’s treatment, the Author illustrates the complex and delicate articulation of transference-countertransference analysis and setting adjustments through medium adolescence (15 year old patient) and young adulthood. She also points to the parallelism between the patient in treatment and the supervised therapist which gives way to hypotheses whose sense can only be clear in the aftermath, the same way as an adolescent’s awareness of what he/she has experienced can only be attained in the après-coup.
