CORPO E IDENTITÀ – Il femminile nel passaggio dall’adolescenza all’età adulta

Il lavoro affronta, a partire da considerazioni teoriche e dall’esperienza clinica delle Autrici, alcuni aspetti dell’identità femminile nel suo consolidarsi nel passaggio fra l’adolescenza e l’età adulta. Ripensare al femminile, soprattutto in funzione dell’applicazione clinica dei concetti acquisiti, non può prescindere dal compito arduo di rivedere, alla luce delle nuove esperienze della psicoanalisi, le questioni base dell’identità del Sé e del significato del corpo come portatore di un’identità di genere densa di valenze simboliche. In particolare, è considerata l’intensa relazione che lega la madre alla figlia, l’intrecciarsi delle identificazioni reciproche e le fantasie materne e della coppia genitoriale che segnano la dimensione simbolica della femminilità. Infine, l’attenzione è focalizzata sulle dinamiche dei processi separativi, sulla possibile linea di demarcazione fra l’inscrizione del corpo femminile in un ordine simbolico maturo e genitalizzato e le eventuali interferenze nelle fantasie sul sessuale. Viene assegnato un ruolo prioritario all’eredità transgenerazionale.

SUMMARY

Body and Identity: the Feminine in the Progression from Adolescence to Adulthood. This work describes some meaningful female identity consolidation steps in the progression from adolescence to adulthood. Reconsidering the feminine with the aim of clinically applying the concepts acquired, inevitably implies an uneasy revision – in the light of the new ways of psychoanalysis – of the fundamental issues which both the identity of the self nucleus and the idea of a body expressing a gender identity charged with symbolic values, derive from. In particular, the intense relationship that links a mother to her female child is considered along with their mutually intertwined identifications and the relevance of the fantasies of the mother and of the parental couple. Such aspects characterize the symbolic dimension of femininity. In the end, the focus is on the dynamics underlying a separation process to be placed on the possible boundary between the assignment of the female body to a mature and genitalized symbolic order and the existing interfering fantasies about the sexual and about transgenerational inheritance.
