ARTICOLO DEL MAESTRO: FIGURE SONORE DELLA VIOLENZA

RIASSUNTO

L’Autore propone alcune riflessioni sul ruolo e la funzione esercitati dal sonoro e dalla musica nel processo di costruzione di sé in adolescenza. Se da una parte alcuni aspetti caratterizzanti la musica amata e ascoltata dagli adolescenti possono essere metafora del cambiamento insito nel processo di trasformazione del corpo pubertario, dall’altra essa può rappresentare una fonte di contenimento e di rassicurazione di fronte a tali cambiamenti sconvolgenti. La musica può essere inoltre uno strumento di aggregazione e di identificazione narcisistica nel gruppo dei pari, espressione della creatività adolescente e offrire un rifugio sicuro di fronte all’angoscia derivata dall’abbandono nel mondo dell’infanzia, dalla presenza degli oggetti genitoriali incestuosi e dal processo separativo.

SUMMARY

Sound shapes of violence. The Author proposes some thoughts on role and function of music inside the process of self-construction in adolescence. If on the one hand some distinctive aspects of the music loved and listened by adolescents could be a seen as a metaphor of changing inherent the transformation’s process of the pubertal body, on the other hand music can represent an holding and reassuring source in front of such shattering changings. Music may also be a tool of aggregation and of narcissistic identification with the peer group as expression of the adolescent’s creativity and it can offer a safe house if front of the anguish rising from the abandoning of the world of childhood, from the presence of the incestuous parental objects and from the separation process.
