RIASSUNTO
Il lavoro ha l’intento di sottolineare la centralità della ricerca e della scoperta della complementarietà dei sessi in adolescenza. Tali processi trasformativi interessano sia i maschi che le femmine. Nella costruzione della femminilità adulta, in particolare, gioca un ruolo centrale la presenza del padre. Secondo l’Autrice, poi, la madre più che «messaggera dell’attesa» dovrebbe essere in contatto con la propria sessualità desiderante per anticipare lo sbocciare della sessualità della figlia adolescente.

SUMMARY
Female adolescence between wish and complementarity. This work aims at pointing out the centrality of the search for and discovery of complementarity of sexes in adolescence. Such transformative process regards both males and females. A central role is played by the father with regard to the construction of adult femininity. According to the Author, a mother should be in touch with her own desiring sexuality in order to foreshadow the blooming of her adolescent daughter’s sexuality rather than just be the «messenger of the wait».
