LO SPAZIO TRA

RIASSUNTO

L’adolescente deve conquistare la capacità di navigare «tra» dicotomie e paradossi e così facendo crea legami: tra infanzia e adultità, tra corpo oggetto e corpo soggetto, tra autonomia e dipendenza, tra avanzamento e regressione, tra immortalità e caducità, tra sfida e limite. Se l’adolescente riesce a lavorare questi «tra», a integrare autenticamente (e non sul piano cognitivo!) le opposizioni, l’articolazione intima di questi «tra», produce un sentimento di unità, si diventa «individui» (termine che nel suo etimo indica come la tessitura dei «tra» riduca i rischi di scissione): per dirlo con quei termini psicoanalitici che rappresentano la nostra bussola, aiutando l’adolescente a navigare «tra», si sostiene la nascita di quel preconscio funzionate che gli consentirà di far uso della relazione e dell’esperienza terapeutica.

SUMMARY

The Space Between. An adolescent have to conquer the ability to navigate «between» dichotomies and paradoxes as he establishes a variety of bonds by doing this: between childhood and adultness, between his body as an object and as a subject, between autonomy and dependence, between progress and regression, between immortality and transience, between challenge and limit.
When the adolescent is able to work throught these «between», to truly integrate the oppositions, (not on a cognitive level!) then an intimate articulation of these «between» produces a «oneness» feeling and it is possible for him to turn into an «individual» (the etimology of this word suggests how the structuring of the «between» reduces the risks of splitting).
To say it with our psychoanalitical words guiding us: helping the adolescent to navigate «between» supports the emergence of that «functional preconscious» that will allow him to make use both of the therapeutic relationship and the therapeutic experience.
